Roger Shimomura, retired art professor from the University of Kansas and judge for the 2007 KWS Winter Invitational , has over 100 solo exhibitions at such venues as the Franklin Furnace in New York City, Walker Art Center in Minneapolis , and the Smithsonian Institution. A recipient of 4 National Endowment of the Arts Fellowships in Painting and Performance Art, Shimomura has been a visiting artist and lectured on his work at over 200 Universities, art schools, and museums across the country. | |||||
