Kansas Watercolor Juror: 2010 Prospectus: or send SASE to |
Slides | |||||||
For 40 years, The Kansas Watercolor Society has sponsored an annual juried competition. For most of those competitions, the judge has chosen the show from slides. That practice has expanded to digital images, but the result is the same: the slides, or digital images--the photographic representation of an artist's work-- is all the juror gets to see. Once again, KWS would like to remind you that a juror needs to see the best representation of your work. Poor images will make it much harder for the work to be selected. For in-depth information on how to take the best possible slides of your art, check out the article, Photographing Your Work, by Ed Pointer. |
