For 37 years,  The Kansas Watercolor Society has sponsored an annual juried competition. For most of those competitions, the judge has chosen the show from slides.  The list that accompanies these slides contains only the titles & sizes of the images, not the artists' names.  The slides--the photographic representation of an artist's work-- is all the juror gets to see.  Once again, KWS would like to remind you that a juror needs to see the best respresentation of your work. Poor slides will make it much harder for the work to be selected.
