"Concept, composition, color and presentation are all part of the package.   To ignore one is to fail them all.   Added to this mix are the subjective, personal preferences that may tip the juror toward choosing one painting rather than another.   Here the organization and those who enter must trust the experience, knowledge and fairness of the juror to treat all entries with the same careful scrutiny. Hopefully this group of watermedia paintings will reflect my attention to both the intellectual and emotional sides of the jurying process. It was a difficult but most enjoyable experience."
